The characteristics of the shoe support are mainly as follows:

2) The sliding support structure can eliminate the easy-to-damage grinding head (including hollow shaft) and main bearing on the large mill, which is safer to operate and can shorten the length of the mill, especially the feeding end of the mill is obviously It has been shortened a lot and the floor space has been reduced.

3) For the drying and grinding mill, since the hollow shaft is eliminated, the sectional area of ​​the feed port is not restricted by the hollow shaft. Therefore, the feed port can be designed more reasonably, which is beneficial to grinding materials and hot air flow. Pass and reduce ventilation resistance.

4) Since the support distance between the two ends of the mill is shortened, the bending moment and the stress of the grinding cylinder body are correspondingly reduced, and therefore, the thickness of the steel plate of the grinding cylinder can be reduced. Especially for the drying and grinding mill, the cylinder of the drying chamber can be made of a thinner steel plate, which reduces the weight of the mill.

5) The linear speed of the belt is much higher than that of the hollow journal, which is advantageous for the formation of the lubricating oil film.

Since the sliding bearing has strict requirements on the processing precision and roughness of the wheel and the shoe, it is more expensive than the main bearing to support the grinding machine. The structure and maintenance of the sliding bearing are more complicated. Once a certain fault occurs in the system, it is required to find and repair it in time, otherwise it will affect the normal operation of the whole mill. Therefore, it is required to install corresponding monitoring and self-control instruments.
