The instrument industry has always encouraged innovation and called for innovation. However, few people are happy about the innovative results. People’s dependence on imported instruments is always there, and the pace of independent research and development of domestically produced instruments is also a result of all kinds of excuses.

Why is the pace of independent innovation in the instrument industry so difficult?

Funds:

Relevant data show that 60% of China’s annual investment in fixed assets of research and development is 60% for imported equipment, and high-end equipment in some areas is 100% dependent on imports. Nowadays, with the high-end development of China's scientific research technology, the requirements and emphasis on independent research and development of instruments have become higher and higher. In 2011, the central government allocated special funds to encourage independent research and development of equipment and equipment.

Talent:

The innovation of the instrument needs to involve the cross of many disciplines, and the talented person in this respect is very scarce in China, the scientific researcher does not understand the machinery, the mechanical personnel does not understand scientific research. Training all-round high-quality personnel in the instrument industry is a top priority.

“At present, our evaluation system is too monotonous and focuses on the quantity and quality of articles published. Since we can buy off-the-shelf instruments and do experiments, we can also send articles quickly.
