School bus exhaust system inspection method

School bus exhaust system inspection method

1. Check the pressure drop of the school intercooler: Measure the pressure drop of the air - air cooler system with a mercury pressure gauge as follows: Install one end of the pressure gauge to the 1/8 inch of the booster compressor outlet elbow In the pipe thread, attach the other end of the pressure gauge to the 1/8 inch thread on the intake manifold . The school bus engine is operated at the specified maximum power of the school bus engine and the corresponding rotational speed, and the pressure gauge reading is counted. If the pressure difference is greater than 156 mmHg or 21 kPa , check that the intercooler and associated piping are blocked and, if necessary, clean and replace ;

2. Air leakage in the school intercooler Check: Install a pipe plug or cap on the outlet of the intercooler and install a pressure gauge, air supply pipe, and air pressure regulator on the cooler inlet. Apply 207 kPa to the cooler . The air pressure, turn off the air pressure regulator, observe the pressure gauge, and if the pressure drops within 49 kPa within 15 seconds , the cooler is normal. If it is exceeded, then determine if the pressure drop is caused by a leak in the intercooler or a leak in the fitting. Apply soapy water to the fitting and observe if bubbles are present .

3. If it is caused by a pipe joint, repair or replace the pipe joint and try again. If it is a leak in the intercooler, repeat the test three times to verify the accuracy of the pressure drop in order to confirm the repair or replacement of the intercooler.

Magnetic Pump

Centrifugal pumps are used to transport fluids by the conversion of rotational kinetic energy to the hydrodynamic energy of the fluid flow. The rotational energy typically comes from an engine or electric motor. They are a sub-class of dynamic axisymmetric work-absorbing turbomachinery. The fluid enters the pump impeller along or near to the rotating axis and is accelerated by the impeller, flowing radially outward into a diffuser or volute chamber (casing), from which it exits.

Common uses include water, sewage, agriculture, petroleum, and petrochemical pumping. Centrifugal pumps are often chosen for their high flow rate capabilities, abrasive solution compatibility, mixing potential, as well as their relatively simple engineering.A centrifugal fan is commonly used to implement an air handling unit or vacuum cleaner. The reverse function of the Centrifugal Pump is a water turbine converting potential energy of water pressure into mechanical rotational energy.
