Scottish Mucomir Small Hydropower Station SSE, the operator of the hydropower plant, is one of the largest renewable energy suppliers in the UK. It attaches great importance to the local fishery economy and knows that the operation of the Mucomir hydropower plant has a significant bearing on the success of the fish migration in the basin. Therefore, after the renovation of the Mucomir small hydropower station, the new turbine will adopt a special design to make it easier for fish to pass through, thereby avoiding adverse effects on the fish population and meeting higher environmental protection requirements.
