First batch of "CKD" Dongfeng Tianlong flagships in Iran off the assembly line

On the eve of last year's high-temperature holiday, Dongfeng Tianlong's flagship was the first time to go abroad to open up the overseas market.


On February 15, the first CKD version of the Dongfeng Tianlong flagship exported to Iran successfully went offline. This is the first CKD (All Bulk Assembly) all-bulk high-end heavy truck that was co-ordinated by Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle and the Iranian KD factory and is another one after the Dongfeng Tianlong and Dongfeng Tianjin series products landed on the Iranian market in 2008. Successful models.


Dongfeng Tianlong’s flagship is the new flagship product of Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle. This is the first time that it has been exported in the form of CKD. There is no mature packaging experience to follow and the project organization is difficult. In order to ensure the smooth packaging of model KD parts, from March to July 2016, Dongfeng Commercial Vehicles dispatched the Manufacturing Technology Department, SCM Department, and the assembly plant technicians to work together on the Dongfeng Tianlong's flagship parts status, tooling equipment, packaging solutions, and production processes. In-depth exchanges of content, reaching agreement on KD packaging solutions and shipping status; packaging testing of wearing parts, special-shaped parts, etc. in advance, formulating packaging solutions for various types of parts, and ensuring that parts packaging conforms to specifications and removes obstacles for subsequent formal packaging. .

At the beginning of the new year on February 2nd, Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle General Assembly Plant carefully selected five capable and experienced technicians and production personnel to rush to Iran to guide on-site assembly operations. After arriving in Iran, the members of the team perform their duties and are responsible for each other. They fully cooperate with the local engineering and technical personnel and carry out professional technical training for local employees in accordance with strict quality technical standards and process procedures to ensure the quality of the loading and production progress. In order to ensure that "made in Iran" DONGFENG KX and "made in China" DONGFENG, with superior quality in the local market to move people's hearts and lead people.



On February 15th, after 10 days of hard work, the first “Iranian Made” DONGFENG KX, which was the wisdom and sweat of all parties, was officially released on the “CKD” Dongfeng Tianlong flagship.

At present, the first batch of 24 “CKD” Dongfeng Tianlong flagships are under intense assembly in Iran’s KD plant, and relevant quality assessment work is also proceeding in an orderly manner.

HDPE plastic also named High-Density Polyethylene,is widely used in indoor and outdoor applications including bottles, playground equipment packaging and furniture. It is a plastic with high tensile strength, and good chemical and corrosion resistance.And it has properties of recycling,UV stabilised, improved impact resistance.


PP Plastic also named Polypropylene,is similar to PE. But PE is more harder more heat resistant.But PP is more durable.Mostly plastic tray is produced by PP plastic.


PMMA plastic also named acrylic or glass fiber.It has properties of tensile strength, transparency, polishability and UV tolerance but less impact strength.It is available in clear, antiglare, opal, white, and frosted.It is best choice for windows, displays or see-through enclosures.


PETG named Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol is another clear rigid plastic sheet.PETG is easily vacuum formed, printed, bonded and polished. As its' excellent clarity and impact resistance, it is widely used in outdoor application.


PC named polycarbonate, has combined advantage of PMMA and ABS. Usually is transparency and semi- transparency. It is expensive but that is best choice for clear plastic vacuum forming.



ASA is one new material which has all good properties of ABS. But much good UV resistant for outdoor usage. It usually be used for radome,air conditioning housing etc outdoor products.



Meanwhile, ABS capped acylic combined the good properties of ABS and acylic. ABS capped polycarbonate combined the good properties of ABS and polycarbonate.If you need high glossy surface for your design,then this is your only choice.
