Great Wall Lubricant Laboratory has passed national approval

As of February 23, 2012, 12 laboratories of Great Wall Lubricating Oil have all passed the accreditation of China National Accreditation Committee for Laboratories.

The 12 laboratories of Sinopec Lubricants Company are distributed in 12 production and R&D units and bear the important responsibility for product quality evaluation. The company conducts unified planning and unified management of laboratory systems.

China National Laboratory Accreditation Committee (CNAS) is the only laboratory accreditation body in China and assumes the responsibility of accrediting all laboratories in the country according to ISO/IEC 17025 standards. Previously, Great Wall Lubricant's four R&D center laboratories have been approved by national laboratories. Since 2011, Sinopec Lubricant Company has been preparing to promote the accreditation of all laboratories in the national laboratories of the company. Through preliminary investigations and discussions, and through the agreement of the China Petrochemical Competent Authority, Sinopec Lubricants has successfully started this work. It has been listed as an important part of quality management work and has provided human, material, and financial support. With the management advantages of Sinopec Lubricants Company, through the combing of the management status of each laboratory, based on the existing basis, further improve the management system in accordance with the requirements of ISO/IEC17025, and through a series of efforts, effectively promote and realize the various laboratories Management work meets the standard requirements.

Through this national laboratory accreditation activity, the laboratories are promoted to improve their technical capabilities, service quality and service levels, enhance their competitiveness, and enable them to provide more fair, scientific and accurate services to the society; reducing and eliminating Repeated assessments or accreditations conducted by laboratories; certification of the credibility of laboratories to the society; and certification of laboratories with accredited laboratories through a platform for mutual recognition agreements (bilateral or multilateral mutual recognition) with foreign laboratories accreditation bodies. The mutual recognition of the report will eliminate technical barriers to trade and promote international trade.

Through the accreditation activities of national laboratories and continuous improvement after accreditation, the quality system of the laboratory will be further improved and improved, and the laboratory's own management level and competitiveness will be improved, providing a more solid guarantee for Sinopec lubricants to reach the international market.
