Last year, the output value of the Guangzhou automobile manufacturing industry reached 85 billion yuan, and the production value of parts and components was only 9.5 billion yuan (excluding the engine). The ratio of production value of parts and components to finished vehicles was about 0.1:1, while the internationally accepted ratio was 1 to 1.7: 1.

Ye Youxin said that currently, among the auto parts produced in Guangzhou, the proportion of functional components with high technical content, such as automotive electronics, is relatively low. Therefore, the auto parts industry in Guangzhou has great room for development.
