Safety valve continues to rise after exhaust pressure

The safety valve plays a safety role in the system. When the system pressure exceeds the specified value, the safety valve opens, and part of the gas/fluid in the system is discharged into the atmosphere/outside of the pipeline, so that the system pressure does not exceed the allowable value, so as to ensure that the system does not cause accidents due to high pressure.

In the normal use of the safety valve and verification, due to improper design, manufacture or use will cause various failures. These failures are not eliminated in time, which will affect the effectiveness and service life of the safety valve. In severe cases, it will also endanger the safety of users.

After the relief valve exhaust pressure continues to rise, the main reasons and solutions:

1. The selected safety valve displacement is less than the safety discharge of the equipment, and the appropriate safety valve should be selected again;

2. The valve rod centerline is not correct or the spring is rusted, so that the valve flap cannot be opened to the proper height. The valve stem should be reassembled or the spring replaced;

3. Exhaust pipes should not be cut enough and exhaust pipes that meet the safety discharge area should be used.
