Despite the strong growth in demand for fuel ethanol in the United States, the statistics released by the US Department of Energy’s Energy Information Administration (EIA) recently showed that the US’s renewable energy consumption growth level was less than 1% last year.

Last year, the total power generation in the United States increased by 2%, but due to the reduction in hydrogen and biomass energy production, the amount of electricity generated from renewable resources decreased by 1%.
