Troy, Michigan — The Delphi Products and Services Solutions Group recently announced that Craig Barnes will join Delphi as the vice president of Delphi’s global independent aftermarket after July 1, 2012. Prior to joining Delphi, Barnes was senior vice president of CARQUEST, a well-known brand in the automotive aftermarket in North America, responsible for product, pricing, global sourcing, marketing, inventory, and demand planning.

Barnes will be fully responsible for the global independent aftermarket business, including parts, diagnostics and service solutions.
Prior to joining CARQUEST in 2009, Craig served as vice president of AutoZone, responsible for global procurement and quality management of brake systems and chassis maintenance. AutoZone is a leading retailer, distributor of automotive parts and accessories, with more than 4,800 stores in the United States, Puerto Rico and Mexico. In more than 20 years of working at AutoZone, Craig has been appointed as a store manager, transportation manager, category manager, and product director from an ordinary sale until 2004 when he was the vice president of the company.
