China's first self-developed design and production of ship ballast water management system with completely independent intellectual property rights, the first export and installation of foreign ocean bulk carriers. After commissioning and trial flight, on September 20th, Nagoya, Japan successfully passed the certification of the Japan Classification Society and delivered it to the shipowner.
The ship's ballast water management system was successfully developed by China Heavy Industry Qingdao Shuangrui Marine Environmental Engineering Co., Ltd. after four years of independent and independent development. It is the first ballast water management system approved by the International Maritime Organization. In January 2011, the system was approved to install ocean-going vessels and became the first system in the world to be type-approved by China Classification Society. In the technical appraisal organized by the Science and Technology Department of Shandong Province, the appraisal expert group believes that the system is technologically advanced and small in size, and the operating cost is only half of the average index of similar equipment in the country with the system. The overall technology and main indicators are at the international leading level.
According to reports, a Japanese shipping company that first signed a contract with Qingdao Shuangrui to purchase a ballast water system contract sent four technicians to Qingdao Shuangrui for training. After returning to China, my ship's ballast water management system was delivered to Nagoya. Japanese shipowners are installed on bulk carriers.
At present, Qingdao Shuangrui has an annual production capacity of 150 units of this system, and has established a relatively complete global after-sales service network. It has signed contracts with a number of domestic and foreign shipyards and shipowners such as China Shipping Group Corporation, for a total of 30 Ship orders, a total of 53 sets of equipment; installation ship type covers the major ship types of all large ocean tankers such as super large oil tankers, bulk carriers and container ships. The company has become the manufacturer of ship ballast water management system with the most signing, the most complete ship type and the strongest strength in China. Ranked among the best in the world.
It is understood that the International Maritime Organization adopted the International Convention for the Control and Management of Ballast Water and Sediments in Ships in 2004, which mandates that new ballasts must be installed with ballast water management systems from 2009. By 2017, all ocean-going vessels will not be equipped with this equipment. They are not allowed to enter the ports of the IMO member states. At present, 35 countries have signed the Convention.
