The power of the ball mill motor mainly considers the weight of the equipment itself, the amount of ball loading, the amount of ore, and the amount of water, etc. The main motor, and its supporting equipment also includes high-voltage control cabinets, excitation cabinets, and starter cabinets. These equipments mainly complete the start-up of synchronous machines. Shutdown and over-current, over-voltage, ground, phase unbalance, and synchronous under-excitation protection. At the same time, the temperature of the stator and the rotor bearing at both ends of the synchronous machine is detected and protected by the PLC. The ball mill motor is generally started with no load, and then connected to the ball mill barrel load through the pneumatic clutch. The start of the motor does not represent that the ball mill has been operated. Only after the pneumatic clutch is closed, after about 8 seconds, the ball mill is driven through the friction plate. The shaft is tightly held and the rotation speed of the barrel is normal. At this time, the ball mill starts successfully.
The spindles at both ends of the ball mill have large load loads and require good lubrication, reliable work, flexible mind, and perfect protection. Lubrication system generally adopts qualified high (low) pressure dilute oil stations. According to different working principles of ball mill main bearings, lubrication methods are also different. The principle of dynamic and hydrostatic bearing lubrication can be hydrostatically initiated by static pressure. Before the ball mill is started, some oil is pumped between the hollow shaft and the bottom of the bearing shell by a high pressure oil pump, forming a layer of oil film between the shaft and the tile, which reduces the starting resistance. After the ball mill was operating for a few minutes, the high pressure pump stopped working. Lubricating oil at this time depends on the rotation of the ball mill to create dynamic pressure lubrication. It is a high-pressure system before and after parking for a period of time before starting and a low-pressure system is used during normal operation. The principle of hydrostatic bearing lubrication is to use a high pressure system to lift the main shaft of the ball mill to form a continuous oil film before and after the start-up, and another high-pressure system is used as a thrust positioning operation part, and its low-pressure system has been running.
