On July 1, 2010, Suzhou Isuzu Diesel Engine Technical Service Co., Ltd. held a groundbreaking ceremony in Suzhou Science and Technology City. After the project is completed at the end of 2011, it will serve as a technical R&D service base for Isuzu in China, providing technical and testing services for Isuzu users across the country.
Suzhou Isuzu Diesel Engine Technical Services Co., Ltd. is invested and established by Japan Isuzu Auto Co., Ltd., one of the top 500 companies in the world, with a total investment of nearly RMB 100 million. It is mainly engaged in the testing, research and development, technical training and after-sales service of diesel engines. The management office building, which is mainly used for engine maintenance training, is scheduled to be put into use at the beginning of 2011. The engine experimental R&D building will be built in the second phase. It is expected to start construction in March 2011 and the equipment installation and debugging will be completed by the end of the year.

Its two pillar products, commercial vehicles and diesel engines, are sold in more than 100 countries and regions in the world. Isuzu has been producing diesel engines since 1933. It is expected that 28,000 units will be sold in China in 2010. .
