Konecranes delivers wheeled container gantry cranes

Recently, Konecranes announced that it will deliver the wheeled container gantry crane (RTG) to the Mediterranean shipping port of Valencia, Spain for the third time. When the third-delivered tire-type container gantry crane was put into use, the Mediterranean-style Valencia Ferry Terminal will have 18 tire-type container gantry cranes. The third delivery of the wheeled container gantry crane will be delivered in the spring of 2017.

It is reported that the 16-wheel tire container gantry crane will be equipped with Konecranes active load control, diesel engine fuel-saving system, GPS car TOS report and vehicle positioning, lifting capacity of 40 tons, can stack another layer at five container heights. The container has a stretch of 6 truck lane widths.
