Recently, China's first 10,000-meter deep submersible researcher "Zhang Yu" was built in Wenling, Zhejiang. The 704 was successfully contracted for the "Zhang Hao" project by virtue of the main equipment packaging mode of the whole ship. 
It is reported that on the "Zhang Hao", the equipment supporting the 704 includes six major categories of power system integration, diesel engine, electrical equipment, sewage equipment, cooler and some auxiliary machines, more than ten majors and hundreds of sets. Equipment, accounting for more than one-third of the total shipbuilding cost.
In recent years, the 704 initiative to implement the "big system, large integration" strategy, based on the multi-disciplinary advantages of the Institute, to carry out cross-professional technical cooperation and research, "big hand and small hand", to equipment packaging, to undertake civilian products. In this way, system integration drives the development of equipment, secondly, the added value of products is improved, and the third is to make full use of the intangible assets of the “seventy-four†brand to transform it into tangible economic benefits.
The success of the "Zhang Hao" is only the first step in the success of the "Great Integration, Great Collaboration". The 704 Institute will continue to innovate ideas, explore new modes of industrial development, and continue to expand the territory on the road of scientific and technological industrialization of military and civilian integration.
