Lubricant spectral analysis of the lubricating oil emission spectrum analysis of the wearable elements iron, copper, aluminum and lead content. The results showed that the amount of wear elements on No. 1 and No. 3 machines had a significant decrease from 25 to 30 minutes, indicating that the cycle time of the diesel engine oil completely passing through the oil filter was approximately 25 minutes. No. 2 engine oil was bypassed by the filter. Therefore, there has been an upward trend throughout the running-in process. The content of wear elements on No.1, No.2 and No.3 machines showed an upward trend during the 45-minute running-in period, indicating that the 45-minute running time still did not reach a good running-in result.
From the spectral analysis results, it can be seen that the lubricating oil used in the running-in process of the diesel engine is domestic common diesel engine lubricating oil instead of the dedicated diesel engine lubricating oil. Therefore, at the end of running-in, the content of iron in the lubricating oil changes with the running-in time. The change of the content of aluminum with the change of running-in time The change of the content of lead in the lubricant with the running-in time The variation of the content of copper in the lubricant with the change of the running-in time The diesel engines did not complete the running-in process. No. 2 diesel engine bypassed the filter during the entire running-in process, and a large amount of wear particles and pollution particles could not be filtered out in time, resulting in a decrease in running-in quality. In addition, the No. 3 machine used the original diesel engine pedestal running system lubricating oil. Due to the system oil circulating, the pollution degree is high. Therefore, the wear element content in the entire diesel engine running process is always higher than No. 1 and No. 2 machines, indicating No. 3 The running quality of the diesel engine is worse than those of No. 1 and No. 2 machines.
Technical Analysis of Lubricant Particles Since the trend of the numerical value of pollutant particles larger than 10 Lm or more than 10 Lm is basically the same as the trend diagram larger than 5 Lm, the trend of the numerical values of the three diesel engine pollutant particles larger than 5 Lm is selected for analysis.
Change in number of particles in number 1 diesel engine Figure 2 Change in number of particles in diesel engine number 2 Figure 3. Trend of number of particles in diesel engine number 3 From the figure, it can be seen that the lubricants of No. 1 and No. 3 machines are always in the running process of the entire bench. Through the filter of the oil filter, it will show a decreasing trend after 25 to 30 minutes. This test result is completely consistent with the experimental results of the first two parts. It also shows that the cycle time of the diesel oil completely passing through the oil filter is about 25 minutes. At the same time, it basically reflects the gradual reduction of the number of particles during the running-in process.
The No. 2 engine lubricating oil filter is bypassed, so all the particles of the lubricating oil in the diesel engine system are always present. With time, the running-in process is intensified and the number of particles increases. In addition, from the perspective of the number of different grades of particles, there are many large particles of contaminants in the lubricating oil. It is precisely due to the presence of these large particles that the roughness of cylinder liners, piston rings, and bearing bushes may increase.
The initial value of the particle count analysis of Unit 3 was higher, indicating that the degree of cleanliness of the diesel engine was not enough to cause an increase in pollutants, which was due to the fact that the diesel engine used the contaminated original system lubricating oil. Moreover, in the later period of running-in, the degree of pollution increases again, which is an indication of increased wear. If it continues to run in, it will inevitably further intensify the running-in, resulting in a decrease in the quality of the running-in of the diesel engine.
Conclusion 1) The use of lubricating oil analysis technology, especially the use of spectral analysis technology and lubricant particle counting technology, can effectively monitor the running-in process of diesel engine pedestal, evaluate the running-in status and predict the occurrence of wear failure. 2) Spectral analysis and particle technology results show that the amount of wear elements on No. 1 and No. 3 machines has a significant decrease from 25 to 30 minutes, indicating that the cycle time of the diesel engine oil completely passing through the oil filter is approximately 25 minutes. Taiwanese machines use domestically produced CD40 lubricants, and all elements have shown an upward trend during the 45-minute run-in period, indicating that a good running-in result has not yet been reached after 45 minutes.
