Recently, China National Nonferrous Metals Group (Guangxi) Pinggui UFO Co., Ltd. declared that the pre-calcination method for titanium dioxide was granted a national invention patent. This invention can find out the quality problem of the titanium dioxide of the sulfuric acid process in advance, and adjust the formulation well before the material leaves the salt treatment process, thus avoiding the product quality fluctuation caused by the formulation problem.
At present, there are two processes for the production of titanium dioxide, sulfuric acid and chlorination. China's titanium dioxide industrial production technology is dominated by the sulfuric acid method. The quality of the sulphate titanium dioxide is interfered by many factors. In the production, the adjustment of the salt treatment formula is often used to achieve the stability and improvement of the product quality. However, the existing production methods only adjust the salt treatment formula after the product quality problems, and whether the adjustment is appropriate can be known only after the product is calcined by the rotary kiln, which may easily cause economic losses.
