In Volvo's production system, the company has two architectures, one is SPA and the other is CMA platform, in which CMA architecture is mainly used to produce small cars, that is, 40 series and below, while SPA modular architecture is used for production. 60 series of mid-size cars and 90 series of luxury car products. With the Volvo SPA modular architecture settled in the Daqing plant, the production base has the ability to produce the new 60 Series-90 series. According to Volvo's previously announced plan, the first model of the plant will be officially mass-produced and launched next year. According to Volvo's product planning, starting from the new generation of XC90, the Volvo brand will be upgraded in 2017. For the models put into production in the Chinese market, Dennis Nobelius, vice president of Volvo Vehicle Line 90, has revealed that the next-generation S80 will be named S90, and Volvo will also launch the extended version of the S90L for the Chinese market.
In terms of power, the Volvo S90L will still use the Drive E intelligent engine cluster, which will be close to the engine power parameters of the new XC90. In the 2.0T engine equipped with the new XC90, it is divided into 2.0T T5, 2.0T T6 and other engines according to the adjustment. The T5 model has a maximum power of 180 kW and a peak torque of 350 Nm. The T6 has a maximum power of 235 kW and a peak torque of 400 Nm. In addition, the Volvo S90L is also expected to be equipped with plug-in hybrid power, which consists of a T6 engine and a motor, the fuel consumption of the vehicle is expected to be only 2.1L, far lower than the use of traditional gasoline-powered models.
After entering the domestic automobile market, S90L will enter the luxury medium and large vehicle segment. In this field, the Audi A6L and the BMW 5 Series Li have the same choice to lengthen the vehicle and the length of the vehicle exceeds 5 meters. This approach undoubtedly meets the domestic consumers' demand for interior space. Prior to the S60, the S60 was introduced in the extended version. Therefore, after the implementation of the Volvo S90, it is expected to continue the trend of lengthening the body. After the domestic production, the length is expected to be greater than 5000mm, and then compete with this level of the Audi A6L.

According to the different function, normally load pipe has 1 inlet tube or 2 inlet tubes
On main pipe part, there will be several exit holes.
Materials
All fabricated steelwork used in the construction of the load box pipes will be to manufacturing standard of normal or classification society.
All materials proposed will be selected to comply with the latest Health and Safety Rules.
Paint systems for hull protection will be of the highest quality (Hempel, Inter, Sigma, Jotun)
Welding
All welding will be performed in accordance with drawing and order and UniSite experience and all welding will be continuous and full penetration.
Workmanship
The workmanship have good marine practice. Care are taken to ensure fair lines, smooth surfaces and neat welding.
