Guangzhou Shipyard completed the design of the LNG power ship

After the program demonstration, program design, risk analysis and safety assessment, the Guangzhou Ship and Ocean Engineering Design and Research Institute completed the design review of the Zhujiang LNG power tour vessel. This marks a new breakthrough in the research of LNG power ships by Guangzhou Shipyard.
The Pearl River LNG Power Tour Boat is a new type of vessel used for sightseeing in the Pearl River waters. It is a special application of small LNG carrier technology on inland vessels. The ship has a total length of 49.2 meters, a width of 15 meters and a depth of 3.2 meters. It is a steel all-welded catamaran with 2 single-fuel natural gas main engines and 3 single-fuel natural gas generator sets. LNG is stored in 2 A vacuum insulated LNG storage tank.
According to reports, Guangzhou Shipyard has taken the lead in launching small LNG carrier research in China since 2009. Now it has mastered the relevant technologies of LNG carrier's proprietary systems, and finally formed a research report and technical solutions for multi-type LNG carriers. Through the actual ship design of the Pearl River LNG power cruise ship, Guangzhou Shipyard solved the domestic marine natural gas storage and treatment system and marine natural gas engine development, the overall performance of small LNG power ship, small LNG power ship power system research, small LNG power ship safety Key technical issues such as sex research, the final design plan not only meets relevant regulations and norms, but also meets the requirements of various technical indicators put forward by shipowners, and has been unanimously recognized by experts.
