According to the research, about 25% of the traffic accident victims in China are pedestrians. In Europe, this ratio is 14%, and the United States also has 12%. In general, the hood, windshield, and A-pillars are the most likely to cause injury to pedestrians' heads after collision with the pedestrians. As a result, the new Volvo V40 with pedestrian airbags achieved the highest score of its class in the NCAP safety test, and its 88% pedestrian protection score was the highest ever.
